Reappearance

Hi, it's me. I actually own this blog, but this past month has been Midterms, so...

Come to think of it, since blogging is mostly a thing that college-aged people do (plus teens and political pundits), I wonder if blogrings across the world go dead for a few weeks in October?

A question for the ages to ponder, no doubt---did I mention that my state is one of midterms-induced loopiness?

However, I've also been learning about these...



....which are really, really pretty. We call them "fractals" and they constitute the gorgeous side of math. Yessir, what you are looking at is generated entirely by abstract symbols plugged into a simple computer program. Geeks are artists too! Actually, it's just one more proof that God can create more beauty than you can shake a stick at, using only an "i" symbol and a number under 2.

It looks like a shell, doesn't it? I love fractals. :-) And I want Danya to write more fractal poetry!


It's almost midnight. Time for all good students to turn into pumpkins so that they can flounder out of bed and face the world tomorrow.
